From Setback to Hope – A Designer's Journey Toward a New Beginning
I never imagined sharing something so personal here, but over the past year, life has taken unexpected turns, and the support of this community might help me take the next vital step.
Over a year ago, I transitioned from freelance to a full-time product design role with an American company, aiming for stability. Everything was going well until sanctions caught up with me.
Because I'm Iranian and living in Turkey, legal complexities forced the company to pause our contract. They asked me to wait three months while exploring a workaround. I did. But after that, I was quietly let go.
Still, I didn't give up.
