I picked "Maker Mindset" topic on purpose :) I carefully review most of the products that I like and comment on here for vulnerabilities or security flaws and the result is not good. Yesterday I discovered a big problem in one of the products for example allowing attackers to exploit it. (I have notified the makers of course) So my question is - as a maker - do you think about security at all when you design and implement your idea? Is this one of your checkpoint items as good UX, nice design, value, etc?

Hey, product hunters! The idea is validated, the beta is ready, the first sales are starting, but .. It is not news that one of the main values for business is safety. How can a newly launched product properly monitor data security on a limited budget? And, not least, how to convince business customers that their data is safe?

Currently working on developer tools that gives startups a frictionless way to secure their user data or and build privacy preserving apps. Wondering if this is top of mind to start? or usually closer to launch? or triggered by compliance requirements? Would love to chat with anyone who has run up with this problem
