Glad to see more experimentation with a model that aligns economics with creators. What's unclear to me: Why would consumers use this to search the web instead of Google, DuckDuckGo, and others? I might be missing something! :)

@rrhoover probably better search experience for creator-related content and less search spam...

@rrhoover My guess as a consumer: no tracking + knowing/hoping you’re supporting the publishers.

@rrhoover @ovushkan It's great to see this initiative, but how will creators be compensated? How do creators get paid?
Molly Retter
@rrhoover @anna_0x this. It's the same reason I use Tidal instead of Spotify--I want creators to get more of the profits over big corporations.

@rrhoover I'm sure, like myself, they are tired of doing searches and getting nothing but ad-buying clickbait. I used to be able to go to the first page and get something real. Now it's all affiliate-scraping junk.

Hey @botsbreeder. Would love to know more about how the revenue share works. How do creators get paid?

nice idea... but sorry. a search engine must find and that fast. both not working now
