Patients are shipped prescription drops that train their immune system to ignore allergy triggers, like pollen or pet dander — freeing them from chronic antihistamine use. Right now, Wyndly is only available in the United States. ** Why we built Wyndly ** In his in-person practice, Dr. Manan Shah, ENT has treated thousands of patients with allergy drops. Congrats on your launch! How long does it take between starting with the drops and being able to get a cat?

@briannoguchi in the published research most patients begin to notice improvement in symptoms between 4-6 months! Like any medication, it depends on your body and how bad your symptoms are when you start. In my practice it’s typically been about 8 months to a year before most patients feel comfortable around cats again. @briannoguchi @manan_shah8 That's really helpful info. This timeframe is pretty insane when thinking about the status quo (in-office shots). By comparison, at-home drops seem like a no-brainer

?makers Crazy fired up about this as I've been decaying as a human in Austin who appreciates the at home factor of this, so I ask this as someone who is likely a lifetime customer which, ideally I'd like to be for another 50+years... What happens if you guys go out of business/get acquired/get eaten by wild animals; am I able to seamlessly transition prescriptions or something?

@shloky and @shilohjohnson Great question! First off, patients often see results within 6 months, and most patients develop strong immunotolerance after 5 years. After that, it's rare you would need to continue on drops. How do we take care of our patients if Manan or I fall off a mountain? We partner with physicians in each state who are prescribing allergy drops to their patients every day. Instead of the patients working with Wyndly, we would transition our patients to working with these different physicians directly. As our patient, we would ensure you had the best care for the rest of your treatment if something was to happen to Manan or I.
