First of all, thanks to the awesome @nikkielizdemere for hunting yet another Vervoe product launch! Second, it's great to be back on Product Hunt. Now, here's what's going on => The Vervoe you've known until now helped you automatically screen job applicants based on their skills. It helped you get to a shortlist of people who you know can do the job. Great. Now we've added another dimension. We help you go from the shortlist to the final decision about who to hire. Not only can you see candidates ranked against each other - based on performance - but now you can also see how the top candidates scored for each skill, re-rank them based on one or more skills, and compare them side by side. This helps you dig deeper into the top performers so you can making a hiring decision with confidence. We put tons of work into this so that our customers can go from application to the final hiring decision seamlessly, without screening a single person out based on their background. My co-founder @davidvervoecom is going to share more insight into the evolution of Vervoe, including a video he made, and how the new Vervoe takes hiring to the next level. We'd love to hear your thoughts and answer any questions! 🙌

Very excited to share this major update with you all. Vervoe has always been about leveraging skills assessments and Machine Learning to give every candidate an opportunity to show how well they can do the job, and give employers incredible insights into each candidate to give them the confidence to make the best hire. This release brings several powerful tools which help you go from a ranked list of candidates to the person YOU want to hire. We are not telling you who to hire, we are simply providing you with tools and insights so you can make the most informed decision. These tools leverage our powerful machine learning and our Active Learning interface to ensure that we are learning whats important to you and feed that into our rankings and suggestions. Then we give you tools to compare candidates side by side and even modify the rankings by excluding/including individual questions and skill - after the candidate has completed. This allows you to run "what if" scenarios just like you would with a product analytics tool... it's really cool. Here's a video of me explaining the release in a little more detail:

Hi Hunters! I’m the designer at Vervoe and extremely proud of the work the team has put behind this release. Before working with Vervoe, I saw and personally admit to hiring and dismissing candidates based purely on resume and disregarding potentially amazing candidates before seeing if they could actually do the job. Great designers were overlooked because I never drilled into what skills they possessed beyond resume writing, or I was so fatigued from the resume review process that they never stood a chance. Based on research with our amazing customers and from personal experience, we have designed the new Vervoe to enable candidates to truly show what they can do and employers to really drill into what they value in their people. We worked with every team in the company to understand and design solutions that solve our customer’s pain while also adding some great new features such as adjustable candidate ranking and shortlisting. Its been an amazingly rewarding design task. Now that it’s in the wild, we’re really excited to iterate, improve and work towards an even better experience for both our customers and their candidates based on the next few months of insights. Looking forward to hearing the feedback, and am open to having a chat with any Hunters if they want to know more about the design process.
