Travel Friends is a simple website to connect with other travelers when you arrive in a new place. Add your pin to the map and then explore if there are other travelers nearby to connect with.
I've travelled a lot just before the pandemic and would have loved to have an app like this. I feel like it would've enriched my experience. I was too shy to talk to people but still wanted to make friends in the hostels I'd stay at so this would've been perfect. I think the only thing I'd worry about would be safety, but I guess any app with personal info carries that risk. Fantastic work, very exciting app!
I used to rely on my hostel to meet other travelers in a new place, but now I stay alone in airbnbs so I can work during the day.

It’s pretty basic but would love some feedback if any of you would use it? My friends liked the idea and a few of them have added their profiles.
I’ve also asked the local hostels to post it on their boards because I thought it could also be a nice way for shyer people to meet others in their hostel.
