What's your favorite Slide to Subscribe feature?
Sorin Șodolescu
@andrei_nedelcu Can't decide between the slider, medium or floating bar
Andrei
@sorin_sodolescu then it's probably the slider, since it's what they all have in common 😄

Hi everyone 👋 I’m Andrei, creator of Slide to Subscribe. I built Slide to Subscribe around two simple principles: 👉 Make it ridiculously easy for people to collect emails, anywhere 👉 Make it ridiculously easy for people to subscribe to email newsletters According to Mailchimp, 61% of people start but do not finish the double opt-in process. Slide to Subscribe eliminates the need for double opt-in, therefore increasing subscriptions, while keeping your list healthy and clean. 🤔What’s special about Slide to Subscribe: 🤔 - Works on your website, Medium, WordPress and via your unique subscribe.to link that you can use anywhere - People can preview your newsletter before subscribing - Syncs with Mailchimp, Sendgrid, etc. Or you can export your subscribers as CSV. - No more expensive email verification. Slide to Subscribe filters spam traps and invalid email addressed. - Privacy friendly: does not require cookie banners (doesn’t track visitors) - It’s free forever. If you have ideas/suggestions for the upcoming Pro version, let me know! That's it - let me know if you find it useful and feel free to suggest new features by dropping a comment below. 😴TLDR: 😴 - Get your subscribe.to/yourbrandname URL here: https://subscribe.to - No need to create an account 👇 - You can try it out right on your website, just create an iframe with src “https://subscribe.to/me”. You are free to style it however you want, or you can grab the recommended styles from slidetosubscribe.com - To collect emails on Medium, type https://subscribe.to/me in your article and press Enter. A Slide to Subscribe form will magically appear in your article.

@andrei_nedelcu Hi Andrei! Thanks for creating this product, it works great. I used Slide to Subscribe in a Medium post and received 135 subscribers but there's a problem to a) export my subscribers in a csv file and b) see an overview of all my subscribers as I can only see the 100 latest. Can you help me?
Andrei
@ljosmyndun hey, I'll check it later today. Must be some minor issue
Andrei
@ljosmyndun should be working now :)

I really like this. I am thinking to use it on https://www.colorsandfonts.com. I am using Mailchimp. What's the difficulty of changing to this from mailchimps original? Thank you. It looks awesome.
Andrei
@michael_andreuzza no difficulty at all and you don't need to change your current setup. All you need to do is click a button to connect Slide to Subscribe to Mailchimp and it will take care syncing subscribers
Michael Andreuzza
@andrei_nedelcu Already been playing with it. Is there anyways to style the button's colour?
Andrei
@michael_andreuzza color customization is something I considered early on and ultimately decided against it, because I think it's important that the widget looks exactly the same everywhere. When it doesn't exactly match your website's color scheme I recommend using a wrapper element of a different color. Looking at your website, I would say it actually matches the widget style pretty well (both the embeddable form and the floating bar).

@andrei_nedelcu Hey, It does match now, but I am redesigning the whole site and with the actual and future dark mode is not going to be seen the black button, that's my concern. A couple of questions, i am installing it, and because my local domain or the test domain with netlify is not allowed is not showing, that's fine because I can enable them to be shown if i allow another url, but even doing this is not being shown. When I am gathering subscribers through sTs, are this ones updating on mailchimp list too? Thank you so much Andrei
Andrei
@michael_andreuzza there's a dark mode that you can use. Instructions on slidetosubscribe.com/developers Make sure the allowed domain includes the full protocol and scheme. Example: https://mywebsite.com or https://www.mywebsite.com If you connected Mailchimp then yes, they will be updating there
