Hey Product Hunt! My team and I (mostly my team) spun up this little Chrome extension as part of a skunkworks project tasked with bringing our security ratings to the world. Today we are giving it a formal launch and encourage everyone to check it out. In case you are not familiar with SecurityScorecard, we rate the external-facing cybersecurity posture of millions of organizations and distill those ratings into easy to understand grades. There is a lot more to that, but you can think of it like a credit score for cybersecurity. The Chrome extension automatically retrieves the security rating for any site you visit, providing an indication of a company’s overall risk using our easy-to-understand A-F rating inserted right on the site. Clicking on the grades takes you to the organization's public profile page and gives you a bit more context around the grade.
