I like playing with new products. I have no Twitter following. These things used to have no correlation. With the recently popularized trend of using Twitter follower count and social media clout as gatekeepers though, normal people like me all of a sudden have to scramble to our few popular friends to get invites to try new products. This makes me sad. 😞 So I spent last weekend building Scrubhouse, drop-in audio chat for the rest of us. At Scrubhouse, we still use Twitter as a proxy for your worthiness to join our conversation...we just believe your worthiness is inversely correlated with your social media presence.
