Proactio teaches kids how time works, so they can make the most of it. You simply input your daily routine, and set the finish time. Proactio builds a visual timer, & shows the passage of time. Dynamic blocks of "free time" grow when kids complete tasks early

Hey Makers & Hunters, As a dad of three, in charge of our morning routine I was often the grumpy, nagging, rushing dad-monster. And I hated it. So I built Proactio to help, and today's the day I get to share it. My kids are great, but (like most kids) it's hard for them to wrap their head around time. It's so abstract, and the idea of "5 minutes left" means very little to them. 😅 When they want to go play, they're not exactly motivated to brush their teeth. I thought if I could just help them understand that there's plenty of time *after* all the "important" stuff is done, we'd all have stress-free mornings. 🙏 That's where Proactio comes into play. It turns a morning routine (or any other routine) into an engaging experience. - It's a visual timer that helps kids understand time, so they can use it well. - It's dynamic too, so kids can see "Play time" grow as they get things done. ✨ It was such fun working on it with they kids—yes, they've been alpha testers and helped pick the colors and sounds—and they love the final* product. I developed Proactio not just for my family, but for anyone wanting to empower their kids with agency over their time. If this sounds like something that could bring some peace and positivity to your mornings (or bedtimes or chore time), I'd love for you to give it a try. Here's to more proactive kids and happier parents. It worked wonders for us, and I believe it can for you too. Cheers, Jack 💚 *Not that final-There's already some cool upgrades on the way for V2. 😉

@jackson_huge thanks Jackson, it’s so nice not having to stress so hard these days

@jack_jenkins great app. One of my boys has ADHD which makes it more difficult for him to understand the concept of time (ADHD affects your ability to plan among other things). Haven’t tried it yet, but I think this app will be great for him. Will let you know!

@andrei_bearcat Thanks Andrei, I'd really love to hear how it goes. Hope it helps him out!

Monetizing apps for kids is tough, do you expect parents to pay for it? Just curious, congrats on the launch!
Jack Jenkins
@alex_chepovoi the benefit here is definitely shared by parents and kids, and the free version is free forever with a single saved timer you can edit as often as you like to use for as many routines as you need. I really want the app to be something that can help any family, regardless of whether they can pay for it. The paid version gives you the convenience of many saved timers so you can start them for your different routines with no set up hassle each time. It’s something I’d expect a percentage of parents to pay for as it’s a one time fee that makes their lives much easier. And then rather than relying on subscriptions I can rely on the ever refilling pool of parents. 😁 feels like a win-win (maybe I’m an idealist) so I’m starting there and will see how it goes. Great question!

@jack_jenkins got you! well, it's a very impactful product even if it's hard to monetize it, so, wish you good luck!

@alex_chepovoi thanks a lot!

Hi Jack. Congrats on the launch! It's very interesting idea and turning the daily morning routine into a game. I also like the .gif on your website, it helps to understand how it works
Jack Jenkins
@anna_kasumova thanks Anna! I’ll pass that on to my daughter, she helped with the animations so the blocks “looked more real and didn’t land perfectly straight” 😁
