Just what we need at the AngelList office. Feature request: integration with our #pingpong channel in Slack. 🙏🏼

@rrhoover Thanks! Absolutely agree! In fact, it's the #1 most requested feature (that have been repeatedly put off since the old google sheet couldn't handle it), so you can expect this feature really soon in the next week or so 😊

@dennisong we'll be sure to use this once we get a pong table. Thanks for the rerweet earlier 😉

Hi product hunters 👋, This is super exciting! After spending the last few weeks polishing up features and squashing bugs, I'm happy to finally be able to share PongUp with all of you! Here's a brief background on how PongUp got started: As in most other software companies, table tennis has always been competitive at our workplace. We were challenging each other throughout the day, mainly for bragging rights 😉. Around a year ago, we decided to step it up and start tracking scores to determine who's better. So we started with a simple google form that pipes results to a google sheet, eventually tweaked to the sheet to calculate points and rank, and at some point even added a pretty frontend leaderboard app (that still runs on Google sheets on the backend). Seeing the board up people started having a lot of cool feature suggestions, "Can we get desktop notifications", "can we publicly challenge a mate" - which will be quite hard to hack onto the current google sheet. Hence, 722 matches later, I'd decided to build a proper app from scratch that we can easily expand upon with new features; A ping pong leaderboard that can be used by any teams/offices around the world, because of course, "Ping pong is serious business! 😁" Can't wait to hear what you think, and if you have any questions at all please let me know! (Thanks for the hunt, @mijustin!)
