Long-time indie maker here with my latest project: Polite Pop.
Polite Pop is a small, polite pop-in message that asks your website visitors to subscribe to your email list. It’s pleasant and unobtrusive, so people enjoy it and genuinely want to see what you offer.
This is, by far, my most exciting product launch! 🚀
I built the first version 2 years ago and, while it got a lot of traction, it still suffered from the main problem most email capture tools have: it was a popup. 🤮 Even I got annoyed by using it on my own websites…
So I rethought everything from scratch and pivoted to a much more polite approach.
The feedback changed — a dozen beta testers signed up within weeks, and, before long, I started getting dozens of glowing testimonials.
