@jack_foster2 Very valid point. We’ve also noticed that self-reported salaries (especially on anonymous platforms) are sometime quite inflated or inconsistent, so we don’t rely on them alone. Instead, we pull from a mix of:
Live job postings with stated salary ranges
Verified offer data from companies and recruiters we work with (over 10,000 inputs)
And some manual curation to weed out outliers or unrealistic entries
We’re also working on adding reliability scoring internally to give more weight to trusted sources.
@rock_rr Paycheck started with a major focus on the Indian market, where salary data is especially scattered and mostly unreliable. But we’ve been getting interest from teams globally, and we're now actively working on expanding to international markets, starting with roles and cities where demand is highest.
If there’s a specific country, city, or role you’d like to see added, we’d genuinely love to hear from you.
@krishkishore Can recruiters also compare internal salaries with market rates using this?
@yoana_angelica Yes, it's primarily made for the recruiters only.
How do you deal with inflated data from self reported salary sites or anonymous platforms?
Does your tool consider the reliability of the data sources?

Does Paycheck cater to international markets or is it focused solely on the U.S.?
