YOJO is an indipendent design studio, hence contemporary fashion label conceived in London and sustainably handmade in Italy. The label's hallmark is defined by the experimental use of ceramics, a totally eco-friendly material that for millennia has drawn the attention of designers and creatives alike across a variety of industries but fashion.
The concept behind the OXYMORON collection was to redefine classic accessories for a more creative and twisted audience. To achieve such a design challange, we combined the clean minimalist look of ceramics with the elegant classy drapes of silk to create men and women accessories that could preserve the past whilst pushing forward. We also embraced modularity and waste reduction for our line of silk and ceramic ties and bow ties.
The journey was difficult and we spent almost two years to get the concept from design to production. Neverthless the collection is ready and we are ready. OXYMORON is now live on kickstarter.
