OnChain.Bio

The first decentralized social bio tool

With OnChain.bio, your social profile data is stored as an NFT on the Polygon network. You own the token that represents your profile and all metadata is kept in decentralized storage. You can view your profile on the ledger, or trade and sell on OpenSea.

Hi Makers! There are a ton of "bio link" / "social bio" tools out there, but there aren't any that allow you to own the data that powers your profile. Until now! With OnChain.bio, you own the token that contains the data to power your profile. When you create your profile, you'll mint an NFT on the Polygon network with a unique tokenId that maps to your username. OnChain.bio doesn't have any servers or databases - everything is stored on-chain or in IPFS. An example profile: https://onchain.bio/charlie The corresponding token on the Polygon blockchain: https://polygonscan.com/token/0x... The same token on OpenSea: https://opensea.io/assets/matic/... Let me know if you have any thoughts or feedback!

Ok, but why?

When I click "connect" I just keep getting "Unkown [sic] error. Reload page and try again." I've reloaded several times.
Charlie Clark
@dfoster Sorry for the cryptic error. Did you connect to the Polygon Mainnet in your MetaMask wallet?
Danny Blast
@charlie_clark The first time, yes. Then it errored out. Each subsequent time, it didn't even make it to the connection window before the error.
