@anna_0x We recommend washing at least once every 2 weeks to prevent oils, skin cells, makeup, mucus, etc., from building up on the towels. Overtime, this would create a barrier between the silver and odor-causing bacteria - thus reducing the effectiveness of the silver. This is why all garments that are self-cleaning still need to be washed. Thank you for your question!
