Hi everyone! I'm Eddie, an entrepreneur based in Seoul, Korea.
It is quite obvious that we are getting tired of social media. Because it offers only a snapshot, everyone is sharing their happiest moments in a constant competition, ironically leaving each other more isolated and lonelier than ever.
Of course, there are microblogs where you can write full stories. However, narrating through text can be a daunting task. It's about organizing thoughts, picking the precise words, and sending the true message, all of which require both skill and effort.
This is why my team and I made Narrator. We are leveraging the power of AI to break down barriers of storytelling that have been preventing many from capturing and sharing their authentic experiences. Narrator is designed to offer three core values:
1. Easy ā : Chat and let Narrator write. It is as simple as sharing a story with a friend.
2. Authentic š: Capture true stories, thoughts, and feelings that make your life unique.

Ever find yourself lost in memories? Sometimes I'm on a solo memory trip, but other times I'm all about sharing the good stuff with someone. Double the memory fun, right? š But here's the thing: my memories are scattered across different peeps. Gotta go hunting for 'em at various times, and my solo memory lane? It's got a pinch of bittersweet.
Imagine if I had a buddy who's always up for memory lane strolls?
Here's how I see it: I'd chat it up using the pics I snapped that day, then relish those moments later.
Oh, and FYI, I'm totally convinced we're living in the AI age. Back in the day, I was all about studying AI, and now I'm riding the AI wave like a champ.

Congrats with the launch!
I really like the concept, and even now use the Instagram more like an album of photos for the future me, but always struggle with captions. First, writing it eats a lot of time; and second, there's something that I don't want to share. But it's really cool to not just have the photo, but describe feelings or the experience a bit more detailed.
So when I installed Narrator, I was excited about that, expecting to see something between Instagram and Google Photos. A meaningful photo album for me, which parts I can post to Instagram or share with selected people. Let me describe my experience:
1. When I just installed the app, I saw the memoirs written by others. It's a great demo, but it pushed me off, because I was thinking about the private album. Now I was questioning if keeping things private is possible.
2. Describing the situation to an AI, and getting cheerful responses with summary and clarifying questions was an awesome experience. It was really enjoying to memorize things in this iterative way, and it actually made me feel even better for that past experience. I recognized some small details that I did not pay enough attention to.
3. At the point when I didn't have anything to add, I wrote something like "No, I think this is it" to an AI, because I was in that "conversation mood". I expected that it will close the conversation and show me the draft, but it just repeated the same response. I realized that I had to press the "Create" button in the corner, but that kinda pulled me out of the flow.
4. I was surprised that the memoir was saying "Roman was...". Expected it to be a story told from my own perspective.
5. I will briefly suggest some functions which absence I was upset with during that first session
ā Being able to write memoirs for groups of photos
ā Being able to share memoirs with specific people
ā Being able to edit the memoir text written by the AI
ā Being able to edit the layout of the text on the photos (now it's hard to read)
