@nirnimes Sure! There is indeed some interesting thoughts behind the scene. Instead of writing a long journal, I love taking short notes throughout the day, in a bullet point format. In this way, I could better record the thoughts that could otherwise be forgotten. My girlfriend writes diary every day. The problem she had is that after writing for years, there is no good way to see the changes in yourself, even though all texts are there. We tried very hard to search for an app that could fit our need. But failed. As a result, we took a lot of time to learn and develop our first take on this idea. Of a smart app. Moolight is our answer. It features an on-device AI that could help us organize the piece of ideas into 15 categories. And try to provide some insights and feedbacks from all the notes automatically. We don't want to sacrifice any privacy, as a result, a decision is made to keep all data to yourself & your own iCloud. After tested out the idea, we found a way to make it even smarter and fit your own record style. As a result, you could train your absolutely unique AI on your device in Moolight. The more you write and correct the category, the better your own AI gets. In our own test, with the default AI, the accuracy is about 70% correctness. If you write for about 20 days with 5 bullet points per day, and correct the category. Your could own a unique AI that do chores sorting out your notes 100% categories correctness for all your notes. Why bother creating another app? Complex tools makes it's easy to get lost. When using simple tools, the notes could easily scattered everywhere. Why can't software help? We live in an age when technology advances every day, yet the software for notes seem to become unchanged since long time ago. That's why we spent long time, realizing this idea. And had great fun developing this product. The idea is about writing without being disturbed. Enjoy the ease of use brought by technological advances while having absolute privacy. Design Thoughts My girlfriend is a data scientist, and I had background in software and design. We wanna to combine our experiences, and attempt to give this idea our best effort. Since day one, we discussed and settled on the following ground rules: We believe everyone should be the sole owner of our data, especially in a case for note or diary. So data never leaves your device or iCloud. All data should be processed on-device with neural engine. It should be 100% functional when offline. We wanna it to be smart, to make life easier. To do this, it should know how we feel when we write; It should know the realtime weather so my gf don't need to type in manually; It should know I'm writing about food, without specifying the category. It should be able to track anything that we ever want to know if we wrote about it. We wanna it to be able to think. To write a short headline each day and help us recall. It should know the top content I'm constantly writing about, and use my data to give us some feedback. We wanna it know them all, yet do not ask for any information besides what I actually write.

We're pleased with the outcome as well. I loved hearing your background story about your needs as a writer and someone who is passionate about journaling. I'm a writer and Oran journalling all the time. We're thrilled to know that you were in a similar position like us over a year ago. It's frustrating to use software that starts by asking numerous questions. By the time you get to the input area, any inspiration might have already vanished due to distractions. As for the feedback, we completely understand what you mean regarding the entries. Even if one writes extensively, the entries just end up sitting there.
