@perte you're right! I didn't know that site! it looks like that our freelance designer got some "inspiration" from their palette - I'm passing by your comments to see what can be done so folks don't get confused with both brandings. Thanks for flagging it 😉

@perte @jmramos Sorry but I find it a little hard to believe that you've never seen the logo of Musixmatch. They have been around for many years and their app is constantly featured on app stores. In addition, it's obviously not just the color palette, it's also the logo. Even if you had personally never seen it, then surely somebody else on your team, a friend or a relative would have. It's quite baffling that you didn't take the time to at least ask people what they think about the logo of your upcoming company. If you had, somebody would have pointed out the similarities to Musixmatch for sure.

@perte while the visual identity isn't perfect yet, I think that a simple logo like the noe we have from Shutterstock will do the job for now. Now, time to keep working on bringing great mentors aboard and have folks to book sessions with them 😊

I really like the idea for your app; to connect experienced individuals with ones who are pressed for advice and guidance. One reservation I have about your advertisement is the focus on millennials may alienate your other target consumers.

@shagun_kazan Thanks for stopping by and totally agree with you! However, at this early stage, we prefer to focus on a group of people whose motivations are very clear to us, specially because we're millenials ourselves. Let's say that, in the beginning, we intend to focus on the smallest viable audience (millennials interested in a career change or in growing in their current roles) and keep broadening the audience from there in the future 😊
