GROQ is brilliant querying language. Once you get a handle of it, queries are intuitive and, yet, extremely powerful and capable. After 3 years of happily using it, I figured it was time to help others make the jump, too. Hope this guide helps!

Hey everyone 👋 I strongly believe GROQ could become a big querying language for how versatile, powerful and expressive it is. Having no computer science or back-end background, I have a hard time grasping other options like SQL and Datalog. I grokked GROQ during my very first touch with it, and it's been empowering me to do much more than I ever hoped for in the past.
