While taking care of my first dog, I realized there is a huge gap in the market for both information and products around taking care of our pets. ā€ Juniper is a community tailored for gen-z and millennial dog owners, where you can connect with each other to learn, get support, and access discounts on the best products out there so you can save time and money. Signing up is free and gets you access to select articles on the site, the weekly newsletter, and occasional discounts on pet products. With a (paid) membership to Juniper Pet Club you unlock a whole lot more including: āœ… Exclusive deals from brands like Fi Collar, SodaPup, The Foggy Dog and many more āœ… Learn more about your dog with Juniper's ultimate canine guides (one per quarter) āœ… Get support from other dog parents in the online community (on Slack) āœ… Read all members-only articles and posts from Juniper āœ… Get the weekly newsletter with tips to help you become a better dog parent in just 10 minutes a week Early bird pricing is $49/year and we also have a discount code for Product Hunt folks (PRODUCTHUNT10) to get 10% off. We hope you'll also have fun with the Underdog Award generator where you can make your dog an award for anything from "Dankest Farts" to "Fastest Zoomies"! Tag us on social and we'll re-post as many as we can. Can't wait to see you in the community!

Having a dog is a hell of a job, I'm very curious regarding this app, GJ!🐶

@paul_pamfil It's harder than people think (if you do it right) and the more support folks have the less they are to re-home or drop dogs off at shelters.

Love the branding. I half joke that @suzywillow's dream is to open a dog farm when she retires. Love that you're back at it, @techladyallison. Did you consider other verticals to build a community around before deciding on pets?
Allison Esposito Medina
@suzywillow @rrhoover Thanks! haha yes, Ben and I also want to open a rescue org for senior dogs someday. Maybe it will even grow out of the work we do here with Juniper. I briefly retired after selling my last company and then realized I had to build a new one, but I knew I wanted to work in a space that was fun, growing, and just totally different. At the same time, it feels like it's not just me, post-pandemic everyone wants ways to stay present, have good times off our phones (dogs help us do both). And at the same time, the "humanization" of our pets, the trends towards treating pets like family members, and the sheer size of the industry make it fun to add something completely different in the space-- with tons of room to grow.
