Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share what my co-founders and I have been working on! I started GYMM along with my brother Ben, and our friend Mick. Ben is CEO and currently working as an engineer at Tesla. Mick is COO and an amazing personal trainer with over a decade of experience. I, Riley, am CTO, a Computer Science student at UBC, and a super passionate designer, programmer, and problem solver. When we were in high school, my parents could afford to get weekly personal training sessions for Ben and I at a local gym. That's where we met Mick, who was Ben's trainer at the time! We got in the best shape of our lives up to that point and learned a ton about fitness, something that we still benefit from today. Unfortunately, traditional personal training is expensive, and out of reach for most people. We started GYMM to address this problem. We believe that personal training is one of the most effective ways to reach your fitness goals because it bridges the gap in knowledge, motivation, and accountability that someone might be lacking when they first start out in the gym.
