It's been over 2 years since I launched something here, but I'm super excited to return to the platform with a new project: Doing Content Right. 🤔 You might be thinking... a book about content? Really? I know. The concept itself is not revolutionary. Content is just a fancy word for communicating and capturing an audience. But, it's a skill that every creator and every company need to master. And it's not just learning to write or speak well... it's learning to find your differentiator and effectively getting your work in front of the people you care about. Achieving that goal is harder than ever. The Internet has created an age of infinite leverage. We can create no-code websites in a matter of hours. We can spin up blogs in a matter of minutes. The lower the barriers, the more competition. So how do you stand out in a sea of people all trying to do the same thing? This resource is my attempt to answer that question. Lots of examples, actionable advice, and little fluff. And if you're turned off by the idea of an ebook...about content... I get it. I created this as a response to a lot of the terrible advice out there. It comes in PDF/MOBI/EPUB. 📝 22 Exercises Speaking of actionable, there's nothing worse that getting advice and then having no clue how to implement it. The guide is complimented by an exercise book that helps you turn theory into action. 🤗 Creator Community You'll get access to the DCR community, full of 500+ creators, building their own content empires, including the creators and operators behind many familiar companies, including Ghost, Indie Hackers, Gumroad, Knowable, Creator Lab, Compound Writing, Marketing Examples, and many more! 📹 Videos (Incl. New Podcasting Section) This is an iterative product, meaning there will consistently be new elements. The newest is a four video segment on podcasting, to compliment the existing video library. There will also be a bonus AMA on Tuesday, April 13 and a one-time creator matching program. Why me? 📈 My personal blog reached 400k+ pageviews and thousands of subscribers in its first year. 📚 I led a 30-person publications team and operated 6 technical blogs, which reached 600k+ email subscribers and millions of monthly readers. 💌 I currently work for the Hustle, one of the world's largest email newsletters.
