Hello everyone, this is my first launch, therefore I hope everything goes well. This app is based on a random idea I had in the last couple of months. I've realised that it's quite easy to take an image and manipulate it in way you want to look like (Photoshop for example). Also AI makes it quite easy these days to crate a lot of content that looks real but is fake (I only say DeepFakes). I just was wondering if there is a way to deal with it and this is how I came up with this idea: An app which allows users to take an image (I've also added video and audio for good messure), hash it and upload the hash with a timestamp to the IOTA tangle with a signature. All this is free to use for now and I intend to keep it that way (I will look for a way to monetise it without people needing to pay for it!). You can simply verify your files via the app as well to be sure that it didn't change. The whole project is open source and with 0 trackers, so that everybody can see what's going on, and point out issues I might have missed. The code for digital signatures runs on an EU server and the db runs in AWS for now (via Deta.sh). Btw. you also don't need an account so feel free to give it a try, it can be a little slow sometimes, but don't fret. (For the technical people: It runs on cloud functions, so it might be slow sometimes). I hope everything goes well and nothing breaks, cheers.

The project is a great assets for journalists among other professions aswell. So just to make it clear, the User is the only one able to hash it and later verify it?

@mahmoud_ghazayel If you want to know if I would be able to hash an image you provided me with, it won't be possible. you can only hash live Audio/Image/Video files taken directly in the app. Everybody can verify any file ,(verification only says that the file is: A made by my app B: not modified). Does that answer your question? Edit: spelling

@mahmoud_ghazayel No problem. It might be worth considering if there is a way to prove that a file has been created by a particular user. Might be helpful in some cases.
