Using a momentum ML model to rank crypto assets

Everyone seems to be getting silly rich from crypto. My theory is crypto assets don't trend, but they do gain momentum... as they tend to be all about community and hype. This algo and ML model attempts to measure that momentum and rank them. Let me know what you think!

@chrismessina haha I think only Elon could have predicted that. The idea with these types of models/strategies is to outperform the market. The theory is if you always own say the top 10-20 predictions and update at regular intervals (say weekly) then you will outperform the overall market (in this case the market is BTC). A good overview is this book where it focuses on stocks: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YPH... Put another way, as per your tweet everything is on sale, this model tells you which ones to load up on ;)

@scott_barrington thanks for the work ! From your own expertise, was it more useful than a combination of location + price structure + momentum divs ?

@leonidas_costas thanks! not 100% sure what you mean by "bination of location + price structure", for certain types of assets there's a lot of proof that they show momentum vs trending following which only tends to work for currencies
