Hi Kaycee. What is your monetization model? As I see it's free and it gives the thought that the owners of the courses can pay for their positive feedback. I wish you a good luck and I think that idea is actual and the website is neat. But I really don't understand the pricing

I'm currently optimising the platform, collecting more reviews and in the midst of creating a community where recent bootcamp graduates can find out more about how to increase their success rate when applying for jobs and to start an open conversation about post-bootcamp starting salaries. Why CoursePilot Matters: 1. Empowering Career-Changing Decision Makers With Authentic Reviews: CoursePilot collects candid, unfiltered reviews written by actual coding bootcamp graduates so prospective students can make a more informed decision. Say goodbye to fake reviews and vague online testimonials and take a glimpse into the real bootcamp journey. Before making a decision, read the pros, cons, challenges and triumphs experienced by people who have recently completed the course and choose the right one for you! 2. Protecting Reviewers With Anonymity: CoursePilot protects the reviewers with anonymity so that everyone’s voice can be heard without fear or hesitation. If you’ve completed a bootcamp course recently, join the community and share your experience! With hundreds of individuals checking out the platform each month, your feedback can make real impact on someone’s life. 3. Encouraging Course Providers To Up Their Game: CoursePilot will analyse the anonymous feedback and issue reports to the course providers informing them of areas they excel at and areas that could improve. Over time, CoursePilot hopes to see a virtuous cycle where everyone wins. 4. Helping Bootcamp Graduates With Job Applications: A career-changing journey doesn’t end when the bootcamp ends, CoursePilot is there to help bootcamp graduates with the job application process to improve their chances of being hired. If you’re completing or have recently completed your bootcamp course, join us in this transformative movement. The more reviews shared, the more students benefit from a clearer, more transparent view of their potential coding bootcamp choices!

CoursePilot is a transformative platform for bootcamp graduates and those on their coding journey! 🚀💻 💼💪 Suggestion: Enhancing the platform with interactive resources like virtual meetups or expert Q&A sessions could further enrich the community experience. Engaging with graduates and sharing industry insights could add another layer of value to CoursePilot. Keep up the fantastic work! 👏🌟

@anna_kasumova Hi Anna, I can understand the concern. I have given the business model a lot of thought and have written off a lot of the monetisation methods that give course providers a biased or unfair advantage. At the moment, whilst it's still in its very early stages of growth, I'm not making any money off of the platform. In fact, as I'm encouraging more bootcamp graduates to leave reviews, I've been careful to not expose CoursePilot to course providers at this early stage. Once the platform has stabilised, some of the revenue streams coming from the course providers are likely to be: (i) Analysing the anonymous feedback and producing reports to course providers so they can be aware of areas they excel at and areas that needs improvement, and maybe (ii) Featured listing but with full transparency, e.g. average user ratings, good and bad reviews. As the platform expands and grows further, I expect most of the revenue will come from byproducts. I've got some overarching plans but I'm going to focus on how to bring more value to the prospective students and bootcamp graduates first. The bottom line is: Reading and writing reviews will always be free and reviews will always be intermittently checked to ensure there are no fake reviews.
