Big fan of Centered — and multiplayer mode for focused virtual coworking in Groups is a welcome addition! Remote work necessitates finding new ways of social connecting while being productive. This is an important trend to watch. ?makers which demographics has Centered found the most traction with to date (I imagine students, but who else)?

@chrismessina, you're 100% right about students + a bunch of the community is knowledge workers - people who needs to go heads down for a few hours a day to do their deep work. This has led to seeing Groups for engineers, designers, architects, writers and others. We've also got thriving groups for people with ADHD and neurodivergent folks who come to support each other to get their work done. Ulf and I are surprised each day with the new Groups that pop up in the platform and we are super grateful that people are getting enough value to keep inviting friends. We are also grateful to our teammates at Centered who used Centered to help build the platform. Kinda meta, isn't it?

We have heard from students that Centered Groups are like the modern reinvention of the study hall: a quiet place to see their friends as they all do their homework...but with beautiful scientifically-based Flow Music and a coach to keep them on track. The ability to see their friends and know their friends can see them ("Social Facilitation Theory") boosts productivity, plus they can cheer each other on on breaks. Students who are studying remotely or wish to study with friends at other institutions enjoy those benefits even more since they don't have the option of going to a study hall IRL with their friends.

I love this product and use it every day. It helps keep me both organized and motivated and I love how it serves me up the next task as soon as I finish the last. Great music curation too to help with focus. Also a great way to do time tracking for clients as well as a record of what I've worked on when. I bought a super cute notebook at the beginning of the year that I haven't used at all since I started with Centered. RIP, cute notebook.
