Hello Product Hunt 🥹🥰 I'm Maxime, indie developer and creator of Birdy! Over the last year, I have poured my heart and soul into Birdy. Living off of your own software. No boss. Freedom. Amazing lifestyle. Unlimited upsides. What a life 🤩 But not until did I find the Indie Hackers community did I believe I could actually make this dream a reality. After I listened to one episode I was instantly hooked 😎 I had a path forward. A community. Like-minded peers. LFG 🔥 It certainly did not start all sunshine and rainbows 😁 After a couple of failed productivity apps, I was looking for something else to build. Being a huge fan of Twitter, I decided that I needed to build something using the Twitter API. Being an indie maker is all about doing what you love every. single. day. Building a Twitter tool definitely got me up excited in the morning 💪 So I started experimenting with the Twitter API. I created some random bots and tiny tools, until one night, as I was laying in bed... the idea of profile A/B testing appeared in my mind *angelic voices*. So I did my standard process to validate an idea... I tweeted about it 😅 Lo and behold, the reaction was great! Or at least good enough that I knew I was onto something. I implemented the idea and the rest is history. Today Birdy is at ~750MRR and growing slowly but steadily 🥹 I'm slowly building my castle and laying one brick at a time, every single day.
