Hello Product Hunt, and thanks to Chris Messina for hunting us again! We started Bibcitation in an effort to create the simplest and most accurate citation generator and today, we're proud to announce another major milestone in our journey as we're launching Bibcitation for Chrome on Product Hunt. Our Chrome extension combines all the powerful features of the web app with a lightweight and seamless interface designed to cite any web page in one click. Here’s a recap of our extension's best features: - Citing web pages and journal articles in one click - Editing citations right from the extension tab - Generating in-text citations for each reference - Adding citations to your bibliography on Bibcitation.com Let us know if you have any questions about Bibcitation or any ideas on how we can improve our Chrome extension :) P.S. We're having a giveaway to celebrate our launch! Just make a Bibcitation account and your email will be entered to win one of the world's 5 most cited books. Look out for the winning email on Monday, April 19!

Hi, my name is Adrian and I am a developer at Bibcitation. I have been working on smartening how we get data from websites, improving the design of user inputs, increasing accessibility for keyboard users, and allowing users to export their citations as RIS files, so that they can share their bibliographies with other websites. It has been a great experience for me working with the team developing this app, and I hope that you will have a seamless experience using it.

Hey guys, I am a software engineer here at Bibcitation. I’ve been responsible for making sure building the extension is a pleasure by setting up the development pipeline, but also designing and implementing features. I look forward for the extension to be useful for chrome users who need to create citations!
