Hey hunter, makers & creators. So good to see you here on a Sunday, I appreciate you.
I’m Pete, one of the makers of ADHD Quiz. My journey of self discovery lead to a late ADHD and Autism diagnosis at age 36. I’ve since made it my personal mission to help as many people as possible to figure out how their brains work, and how to become truly themselves. ADHD quiz is a big first step towards understanding whether you have ADHD symptoms or not. I wish I had access to an easy tool like that when I was looking for answers myself. Thank you for your questions, upvotes, feedback, and for just being here with me today.
ADHD diagnosis should be strict and based on actual conditions.
However, the ADHD Quiz has made the questionnaire visualization more user-friendly and the UI is really cute.
@jane0621 I 100% agree with you, Jane. Thank you so much for pointing this out. Unfortunately in some countries the waiting time to get an official diagnosis can be 18months or longer. So we thought we can simply design a quiz to help create self awareness for people who can’t yet get diagnosed.
Great job, guys! Helping people uncover issues that might be in their blind spot is really important and valuable 🔥
I’d also love to learn more about the scientific basis of the test. Is this some special test that is clinically verified and commonly used for diagnosis?
@georgestrunin thank so much for the support, and your question, George.
The quiz is based on common ADHD screening questionaires. It is not a diagnosis but it is still effective and simple for ADHD screening.
Its been built using vanilla Javascript and a little bit of Tailwind. Feel free to look at the source to see how it is implemented.
i like the quiz.
The only question i have though is how accurate are these results, expecially because i can behave adversely and actively in certain environments and at some other places i can be quiet and non challant.
Are test really a good test for knowledge? and come to think of it, some of us dont even know ourselves to begin with.
i like the idea of an app that could diagnose ADHD. the only question i have is what is the knowledge base. this is really something amazing.
i particularly like the racoon. it looks simple and explicit for the first test and try
