Why are we launching a new cloud solution if the market is flooded with options? Hello Product Hunt, my name is Filipe Névola, co-founder of zCloud. The answer to that first question is very simple: pricing and support. We started building zCloud one year ago when Edimar, our Principal DevOps, had the initial idea to build it. His main argument was: we can offer at least the same level of services as other players in the market for a fraction of the price. How? Simple: getting bare metal machines and managing them ourselves. It allows us to offer quality services and keep prices low. So we set out to create three pillars that would hold our foundation: affordability, flexibility, and the best support we could offer -- 1h or less response time during working hours. Being affordable meant competitive pricing but we also wanted our billing to be predictable and straightforward. With us, everything is clear from the get-go. There are no hidden costs and make things even better network traffic is always free. Very different from most of our competitors. Being flexible meant being able to run any app in any configuration possible. We are container-based, so all you need is a docker image - something that we also provide. @simon_s_j thank you Simon. We are running now in 4 regions, two in Europe and two in the US. And yes, we have plans for Asia. We are expanding quickly based on clients demands so if you need servers in Asia we can probably spin up for you, just send a message to support@zcloud.ws with your needs and let's do it!
