Yogi Do List

Hello everyone, I'm a professional musician that has recently changed focus into software development, and this is my first application. I built this app out of a personal desire to track my progress through BKS Iyengar's courses in the appendix of his book, titled "Light on Yoga". The courses span 300 weeks of yoga asanas, taking you from beginner to expert. The app is basically a todo list for yoga poses, hence the name. An important aspect that Iyengar touches on is persistence and perseverance, so I built those features into the app in the form of losing progress when you fail to complete all of the given poses for the day. You are given breaks, but missing too many days in a row brings you down. I wanted to keep users motivated to keep using the app, so I created profiles for users. You can chat in our YogiChat, and show off your progress badge. In future versions, I'll be adding leaderboards, friend requests, and private messaging. Until then, the app is still fully functional and helps guide you through all of the necessary poses given to us by BKS Iyengar.

I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to yoga. This app has definitely made it super easy to dive right into. It's also very user friendly and beautifully designed!
