Thanks for posting Sam!
Hi Everyone!
I'm one of the cofounders of Yardbook. We’re really excited to share Yarbook with you. We've been working on it for the last several months, and we’d love to hear your feedback.
We first launched an early version of Yardbook over a year ago and since then, we’ve been helping landscaper and gardeners better manage their customers, schedules, and billing. In the latest release we’ve launched an online tipping feature that is proving to significantly increase user revenues.
Check it out and let us know what you think, we’re excited to hear your feedback!
@briangamido Hi Brian, working with HVAC, I've learned it's hard to get contractors to consistently use a software tool. Are you finding that your users are active on daily basis or are more sporadic across the month(s)?
@eniac Hi Nebojsa--Thanks for the note! Are you interested in taking a look at a sample business profile? If so, we have a pretty good example midway down on our homepage at: https://www.yardbook.com/pages/home
@pori_alex Hi Alexander--great questions! We're finding many of our users coming back on a daily basis, because on any given day, our users can be servicing dozens of households. They are coming to the site daily since we help them manage their daily schedules and jobs. Hope that helps!
@briangamido I'm assuming the daily schedules and job management is done by them via the dashboard. Or is it a case where your customer support helps manage their account?
@rsolo20 Thanks for the note Robert! We're exploring some focused monetization approaches including premium features and services among others. Some analysts estimate the lawn and landscape industry to be $76B (and that's just in the US) so we feel we are very well positioned to create and capture a lot of value in the market which is fragmented today.
@briangamido what about lead gen? I'd love to use a dedicated service like this over Angie's list or thumbtack to field landscapers - and I'm sure they'd gladly pay for leads
@briangamido@passingnotes this is nitpicking (everything looks really great overall) but the shady, overgrown forest image you chose for the main homepage backdrop doesn't seem to reflect your product or customer base. perhaps one of the images you use further down in the page (photo of someone's yard? nicely manicured grounds?) would be better?
