Just to follow up... I totally won the Hackathon! Thanks ProductHunt! It was pretty compelling to do my little demo with the logs of people checking domain registrations scrolling by furiously in the background. Besides the unending admiration of my coworkers *cough* *cough* and a shoutout from our CEO, I won a new laptop... which is awesome, since my wife managed to finally kill her old one last week.
