Certainly makes sense that a verified identity network would be seeking a clear use case — and messaging would be a great place to start, since messaging is also an excellent foundation on which to build a super app.

Just read the "privacy" policies. They will require your phone number for certain transactions, and will allow anybody that knows your phone number to contact you or access your profile.
