11 Slack themes inspired by each of Wes Anderson's films. With the worldwide release of Wes Anderson's newest film "Asteroid City" this Friday, spend the week working in whimsical Wes Anderson style.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Cole, maker of wesanderlsack.com -- a "Slack themes" website inspired by the distinct style of film director Wes Anderson. With his new film coming out this Friday I thought it would be fun to brighten up people's workspace this week! As a huge fan of Anderson's work, particularly his use of color and typography, I thought it would fun to translate that into something people could use daily - in this case, Slack themes. Despite being a full-time founder and a father (Happy Father's Day to all!), I managed to sneak out this fun little hobby project over the last few weekends. One of the most time-consuming parts of the project - and ironically one that doesn't affect the end themes - was the search for Google fonts that mimic Anderson's style. Unfortunately, I didn't have the budget to license Futura and other but am really happy with the end result! I hope this site adds a little joy to your week, perhaps even prompting you to revisit some of your favorite Wes Anderson films. Wonderful, now I just wish I had the theme music from The Royal Tenenbaums playing in the background. I was aware of Slack having built in themes, but I've never encountered this copy-paste flow. Really well done!
