💡 Bright idea
Hey @muditjuneja this is just amazing 😻 so many childhood memories, especially like Worms, Transport Tycoon or Theme Hospital are one of my all time favorites 😎. From my first tests, it seems that the mouse sensitivity is quite high. I just tested Transport Tycoon, any recommendations? edit: and another question how to you handle stave states? Congrats on the launch 🚀

Hey @crebuh! Thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to test out WePlayDOS! I'm thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your favorite games. You're absolutely right about the mouse sensitivity. On checking, I confirm that the sensitivity is being set to 100% at the start and can be configured. Let me fix that and get back to you. Regarding save states, I am currently exploring on how can I hook into the dos filesystem but I assure you that it is gonna be there! Please keep the suggestions coming! I'm eager to make WePlayDOS the best possible experience for everyone. Thanks again for your support!

@muditjuneja Another suggestion would be multiplayer support. For Worms this would be absolutely crazy 😅
Mudit Juneja
@crebuh yes, network play would be one of the premium option that I am exploring.

Hey Mudit, WePlayDOS seems like a great way to relive classic gaming memories 🤩 I'm curious about how you handle game licensing and copyright issues. Are there plans to add multiplayer functionality for games that originally supported it? Congrats on the launch!
Mudit Juneja
@kyrylosilin Network play is planned but there is a lot of work with that. For the licensing part, I feel most of the games are abondonwares but still if someone feels I am infringing the copyrights, I am happy to remove those games. Also in the open source model, it will be like BRing your Own Roms so I don't have to worry about that thing then. Thanks for taking and look and supporting this.
