Hi PH! Dani here, Co-founder and COO of WeFish. We founded WeFish to help angers from all over the globe catch the dream fish. We realized that AI was being used in several different fields, so we thought: Why not apply it to recreational fishing? And that is what we did. We built a mobile app where anglers could log their catches with lots of relevant information and thanks to the thousands of catches already uploaded in the app and our AI algorithms, they could also know where and when fish will be more active. As the tool became more popular, we saw that a community was emerging from the app, so we built social features to help anglers from around the world get in contact and share their catches and experience. And finally we asked ourselves: Can we use our algorithm to help anglers gear up? And the answer was YES! By analyzing their catches and similar catches from other users, we came up with an algorithm to help anglers choose the best fishing equipment. So after 3 years of hard work, we are happy to introduce to the HP community: WeFish!
