My user journey has been quite challenging. The platform asked me numerous questions. For some reason, it requested my website data and other related information. How does this step contribute to the user onboarding process? Overall, I believe the UX/UI could use some enhancements.

@michael_vavilov AI is data hungry, we crawl the website and gather all the public information to build the initial knowledge base and context for the AI agents to run for you.
Why ask this when a workflow has not yet been created? From a product point of view, these questions can be addressed later, allowing users to be brought into the platform more quickly and to demonstrate value sooner.

Makes so much sense! Can’t remember how many times I personally have used an AI tool or workflow, only for it to miss by just a bit, in the last step. Feels quite frustrating.

Waxwing founder chiming in! As a lifelong techy, I love what AI brings to the table: faster workflows, automated insights, instant drafts. But here’s the catch: AI isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Without real human insight—someone who understands brand voice, nuance, and big-picture strategy—AI’s outputs can feel generic or out of context.
Meanwhile, going the purely human route can be slow, especially when you’re juggling multiple freelancers who each need to be caught up on every project detail.
That’s why we believe in pairing the two: let AI handle repetitive tasks, and let qualified experts refine the results. It’s about cutting out the busywork so humans can do what they do best—bring creativity, empathy, and strategic thinking to the table.
We’ve spent months turning that principle into something tangible, and the result is Waxwing! Hope y'all enjoy using it as much as we did building it!
