Hey team! Congratulations for the tool! :) It sounds like a great tool. However, there are some ideas that I don't understand. Do you hate interviews? So, do you hate speak with "your users"? How do you actually get insights from your "real" users if you don't speak with them? That means that your user personas are based on not real data from your product, right? Cheers! :)

@rubenlozanome I like interviews. But I also know that 99% of Founders don't. This is how this tool was born :)

@rubenlozanome @kronop wow 99% that's scary.. maybe that's why so many fail - If you can solve for customer pain at a reasonable price , you will get paid handsomely congrats on the launch

@rubenlozanome I doubt that the makers hate interviews :) I would see this much like automated tools for accessibility. It gives a first quick pass, surfaces the obvious quick wins, and from there, you can dig in deeper. Nothing beats speaking to your users or using the accessibility angle; ask users using accessible tech to test your website or app. I would also assume that there is a cost angle here. Doing user interviews is not cheap, so for many early startup founders, having a tool such as this gives them something. Something is almost always better than nothing.

@mechanicalink yes I agree with you. But one thing is saying, "founders hate speak with customers and this is the solution" and other is "here is a tool to start generating your persona if you don't have one". Really, I want to know if founders hate interviews, because basically the foundations of Lean Canvas and User Research are for nothing. 😂 Is it expensive speak with your customers? I did many interviews and all of them for free because they want to help and share their ideas. However, if you want to offer to use your product for free for a period of time is not bad. but expensive? 😂

@rubenlozanome I missed the "hate to speak with customers" part. I saw this line from their website, "Understand your ideal customer without running 50 interviews." I do not believe that it is meant to say that founders hate user interviews or that doing them is unnecessary. I think it hints at the fact that it can be expensive, whether that be expensive from a time investment perspective or real monetary cost, and that this tool can help you get started. "I want to know if founders hate interviews" I do not hate interviews; quite the opposite. "Is it expensive speak with your customers?" If you already have customers, then for sure, you have many ways to engage with them that will not cost anything other than time. However, this could be helpful if you have a sense of who your customers could be but still need to do the required research. I say that without having tested it yet myself, though. Sometimes I find these tools, and a lot of AI tools in general, to be a nice way to think through a problem. Ultimately, you may come to your own conclusions, but asking questions and thinking through the responses helps. " but expensive?" Again, depending on the product and the stage you are in, this can be free or relatively low cost. I have been involved in a product with a large community who would happily talk with us for free. Even though this was the case, we always reimbursed them in some way for their time. Some people find it easy to approach people online or in real life to ask questions and do some user and market research. For others, this is really hard and so having access to tools such as this can be valuable.

Dan, the experience is amazing actually. It seem that saving lots of time. But I'm curious about that what's different between Using ChatGPT directly and User Persona Generator? Here is the prompt, ``` I want to open a all-natural bubble tea shop, targeting stressed-out working professionals. Please help me create a hypothetical User Persona, with a defined user background. Problem: Your Persona is grappling with this challenge. Pains: And particularly facing these adverse outcomes. Goal: Your Persona aims to attain this transformation. Benefit: So they can enjoy these favorable results. Trigger: This incident compelled your Persona to seek a solution. Barriers: However, these uncertainties hinder your Persona's progress. ``` And the result ``` **User Persona: Stressed-Out Sarah** **Background:** Sarah is a 32-year-old working professional who lives in a bustling urban area. She works as a project manager in a fast-paced tech company, where long hours, tight deadlines, and constant pressure are the norms. Her job demands not only her physical presence but also her mental energy. Sarah is highly dedicated to her work, often sacrificing her personal time to ensure her projects succeed. This lifestyle has started taking a toll on her well-being. **Problem:** Sarah is grappling with chronic stress and burnout due to her demanding job. She often feels overwhelmed, drained, and mentally exhausted. The work-related stress has started affecting her sleep, mood, and overall quality of life. She is searching for healthy ways to manage her stress and find moments of relaxation in her busy schedule. **Pains:** 1. **Physical Exhaustion:** Sarah experiences frequent headaches, muscle tension, and fatigue due to prolonged periods of stress. 2. **Poor Sleep:** Her stress levels make it difficult for her to fall asleep and stay asleep through the night. 3. **Lack of Relaxation:** She struggles to find moments of tranquility during her hectic workdays. 4. **Decreased Concentration:** The constant stress has led to difficulty in focusing on tasks and making decisions. 5. **Social Isolation:** Sarah's busy work life leaves her with limited time to socialize or engage in hobbies, resulting in feelings of isolation. **Goal:** Sarah aims to attain a healthier work-life balance and manage her stress more effectively. She wants to incorporate relaxation and self-care practices into her routine to improve her overall well-being. Her ultimate goal is to find a way to unwind during her workdays and regain her sense of calm. **Benefit:** By achieving her goals, Sarah will: 1. Experience reduced stress and burnout, leading to improved mental and physical health. 2. Enjoy better sleep quality, allowing her to wake up refreshed and energized. 3. Enhance her concentration and decision-making abilities, leading to increased productivity at work. 4. Create opportunities for social interaction and personal hobbies, reducing feelings of isolation. **Trigger:** Sarah's turning point came when she experienced a panic attack during a particularly stressful presentation at work. This incident made her realize the urgent need to address her stress levels and prioritize her well-being. **Barriers:** 1. **Time Constraints:** Sarah's demanding job often leaves her with limited time to invest in self-care activities. 2. **Skepticism:** She may be skeptical about the effectiveness of new relaxation methods, given her busy lifestyle. 3. **Work Culture:** The prevailing culture at her workplace might not encourage taking breaks or focusing on well-being during work hours. 4. **Lack of Knowledge:** Sarah might not be aware of the various options available to manage stress and find relaxation in her daily routine. Understanding the challenges and aspirations of Stressed-Out Sarah will help you tailor your all-natural bubble tea shop to meet her needs. Your shop could provide her with a soothing and rejuvenating environment where she can take short breaks, enjoy healthy bubble tea options, and find moments of tranquility amidst her busy workdays. ```

I think this product is absolutely horrendous. Talk about taking a bug and selling it as a feature. So here it is AI hallucinations as a service. Full disclosure >> I am a UX designer who relies on actual insights. Sorry if this is a little harsh, but truth hurts.
