🤘 Hello and welcome to Unslept. Unslept is a community of passionate music fans listening to and discussing a particular album weekly. It's like a metalcore book club. Some weeks you may not like the album, others you may find a new all-time favorite. But every week we'll have rich discussions. It's really simple: We send you a text with a link to an album. You listen then you jump into Discord to discuss. 🤔 Why make this? I absolutely hate sleeping on good music. One of the saddest feelings is finding an album, loving it, and discovering the band broke up three years ago. You were too late. You slept on it. For example, I finally gave the album The Death of Peace of Mind by Bad Omens a chance in July. It came out in February this year. All that time between when it was released and when I gave it a chance could have been filled with musical bliss. But instead, I was sleeping on it. Bummer. (Sincerely it's an amazing record, give it a listen) 👀 Okay, but why heavy music? The metal and hardcore communities are criminally underserved. Metal fans are also the most loyal fans, according to Spotify research. I love alternative and heavy music. I love sharing music. I love discussing music. Combine it all, you've got Unslept. Never sleep on music again.
