This extension is primarily for UltraWide monitors, but that does not mean it's only good for it. You can manipulate the size of the video that contains horizontal or vertical black bars and let the video fill your entire screen for a better experience.

@fotiskaf Thanks for your feedback. Let me know if there's any feature you'd like to suggest?

@dvlden It's already great, I don't want anything else.

I’ve been using UltraWideo since the initial release. Props to the creator for making this. Give it a try, you won’t regret.

I've really considered switching to an ultrawide monitor at some point. I'll have to remember this if I ever do. @dvlden What are the benefits for non-ultrawide users?
Nenad Novaković
@jakecrump Thank you for your comment. I'm also using this extension on my Macbook Pro, both 15" and 13" and it helps when using the Upscale mode to remove the minor vertical black bars that can be present on some videos. That said, it helps with both vertical and horizontal black bars. And people using it on Firefox Android are giving nice feedback, saying that it solves some bug with videos. I don't have an android, nor it was intentional to make some kind of fix, but I'm happy that it magically happened.
