We’ve all been there. Projects pile up, deadlines loom, and files scatter across hidden corners of your system. The document you need to revise is always buried, and tracking down colleagues who might have a copy feels like a wild goose chase. When time-sensitive tasks demand your focus, the chaos of disorganized files only amplifies frustration. Manually organizing files isn’t the answer, either. Stopping mid-task to categorize downloads, rename folders, or navigate endless Finder windows kills productivity. For those who handle files frequently and in bulk, this inefficiency drains time and stifles team workflows. That’s why we built Tooc. Tooc tackles file management chaos head-on with two powerful, complementary features: File Automation and Tooc Context Menu. Together, they streamline file organization while adapting to your unique workflow. 🤖 File Automation: Set It, Forget It Define custom rules to automate repetitive file management tasks. File Automation monitors designated folders and instantly applies your predefined "Rulesets" to every new file or folder added. How Rulesets Work: - Target Folder: Choose any directory (e.g., your cluttered macOS Downloads folder). - Conditions: Set criteria using file types, names, dates, or keywords. For example: “All files with image extensions (*.jpg, *.png)”. - Action: Decide what happens next—move files to “My Photos,” rename them, or trigger backups. - Advanced Logic: Combine conditions with AND/OR operators for precision. (“Move all invoices created this week AND tagged ‘Urgent’ to ‘Accounting’”). - Profiles for Every Scenario: Create multiple Profiles, each with its own set of Rulesets. Switch between them instantly to match your current project or workflow. Once activated, Tooc monitors your folders in real time, ensuring files are always where they need to be—no manual intervention required. ⚙️ Tooc Context Menu: Instant Control at Your Fingertips Select any files or folders and trigger shortcut(mouse keys/keyboard key combo) to access a customizable menu of actions. Handle exceptions, quick transfers, or complex operations in seconds. Key Capabilities: - Save to Pinned/Recent Locations: Instantly move or copy files to pre-saved directories. - Create New Folders on the Fly: No more digging through folders—build nested directories in one click. - Native Integration: Includes Finder’s default context menus (rename, delete, etc.) alongside Tooc’s tools. - Customizable Shortcuts: Add, remove, or rearrange menu items to match your habits. File Automation handles routine tasks, while the Context Menu tackles edge cases. Together, they eliminate friction: Automate the predictable. Let Rulesets sort daily downloads, project assets, or client documents. Control the unpredictable. Use the Context Menu to redirect stray files without breaking focus. Both features are fully customizable, ensuring Tooc adapts to your workflow—not the other way around. Unfortunately, we are only launching the landing page at this time.
