Hi Product Hunt! 👋 Thrilled to introduce TimeTabled, my first product here! I built this tool to make it easier for my friend and me to find shared free time in busy school schedules to work on our business. Coordinating with others, especially in school clubs or group projects, was always tricky with cluttered timetables. TimeTabled lets you and your friends add your available times and share a link. When combined, it shows the best options for meeting up—simple and efficient. I'd love your thoughts and any feedback to make it even better. Let's stop guessing and start connecting! 🚀

It’s a good idea, but I think there’s a huge difficulty in getting people changing their usual behavior to jump to this tool, once I save a slot on the week with my partner that meeting is sacred and there’s not much use in finding a tool like this, I see it as a nice to have but not a must, I hope I’m not correct and there’s something I’m missing, why would you say this is a killer tool that people will use a lot?

@rupgo Thanks for your thoughtful comment! I agree with you on potential friction in changing the way you schedule meetings, yet it depends on your needs. I believe TimeTabled is great for cases where you're dealing with larger groups and dynamic schedules that change frequently, where it saves time by eliminating unneeded back and forth. Furthermore, instead of filling in free periods, in the future you could connect your calendar and it could automatically find potential slots, making it easier to switch.

Hey Aleksa, TimeTabled looks neat! As someone who's constantly juggling multiple projects and group meetings, I can see the appeal. The link-sharing feature is a smart touch - no need for everyone to sign up. I'm curious though, how does it handle recurring events or last-minute changes? Also, have you thought about integrating with popular calendar apps? That could be a game-changer for adoption. While I agree with Ruben that changing habits can be tough, I think this could be super useful for ad-hoc meetings or study groups where schedules are always in flux. Maybe focus on those use cases? Keep iterating - you might be onto something here!

@_ivan1 Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate your insights. Currently, the app is an MVP I used to solve my own problems. Still, I see that it's a bit time-consuming to fill in recurring slots and small changes require reloading the timetable with a new link. On the other hand, integrating with calendar apps is definitely on my radar as it could help with some of those issues, while making the app orders of magnitude more automated and time-saving. Overall, I agree with you that changing schedules should be the main focus going forwards.
