Hey Product Hunt, We're thrilled to launch a brand new version of theDIYtrip to the Product Hunt community, an AI based trip planning tool that helps travelers plan & book their dream trips in seconds. Travel planning can be daunting especially for DIY travelers looking to explore new destinations. Furthermore, its a hassle to research multiple websites, blogs and forums and tie all the information together to build a travel plan. Having faced these challenges first-hand, we decided to build theDIYtrip. With theDIYtrip, you can get - āœ… Instant recommended itineraries for any city in the world āœ… Reliable sourced insights that help make your trip plans more accurate āœ… Single click book button to book your excursions How it works? - Choose your destination city and travel dates - We create a recommended itinerary instantly for you - Browse through the details and insights in a single place - When you're ready to book, choose the cart icon - Edit the cart to keep only the items that you are interested in visiting and book your trip We can plan trips for any destination city in the world. We are also available on all platforms including Web, mWeb, iOS and Android. (Booking ability is currently available only on Mobile devices and we'll be launching on Web very soon) We have so much planned for the future to make the travel experience easier, smarter and more engaging. We would love to hear from you as a traveler in our evolution journey, so please do leave your suggestions and feedback! Hey Karan and theDIYtrip team, congrats on the app launch! Just tried & love it. Excited to see the information is very insightful, really simplifies trip planning. One suggestion: the app feels slow when submitting a trip; consider updating the UX for a smoother experience (like just create the trip, then slowly add more information) Looking forward to trying it out in my next trip, Good luck!

@maxtpham thanks for the feedback, will look at improving the performance of the app!

hey @thediytrip, I did not mean to improve the app performance, as I know AI need time to process. The only thing I suggest is to just change the UX flow, to create the trip right after user click submit & navigate to the trip detail, then slowly add trip info to the user screen (based on your AI engine output). Good luck!

@maxtpham ahh interesting & got it, thanks for clarifying. will look into that.

Neat product @thediytrip šŸ‘ usually would take us hours to research the itinerary šŸ™„

@thediytrip hmm it kept saying that my login has expired šŸ¤”
Karan Jain
@hai_ta1 which city were you trying?
Hai Ta
@thediytrip I tried Palma Spain and Croatia and when I submitted request, it says "It seems your login session has expired, please login again to continue."
Karan Jain
@hai_ta1 Thanks for flagging that! I think there are 2 Palma(s) showing up and its creating a confusion - If you select Palma, Spain instead of Palma de Mallorca, it works. I just tried and was able to create a trip - https://www.thediytrip.com/plann... I have noted this issue and will fix it, thank you again for pointing it out!

@thediytrip nice thanks! Checked the link and it looks like a proper itinerary
