I'm Brazilian and I moved to Portugal last year. I basically lost all my favorite clubs and bars and had a very hard time getting to now all the queer spaces in the city. I looked for an app focused on the LGBTQ+ community for ages, and, even though there are some out there, none of them felt local to me, they all were very targeted to older tourists. And that's how the idea of the app finally came to life. We want The Queer Spot to be the top-of-mind app when it comes for our community to find the most fun and nice experiences all around the world.

This is a great idea that I feel like is probably so hard to maintain... So many of these review based apps end up as content graveyards. Glad to see its not another "1.0" cis gay fire island thing but something queer focused.

@puppycodes Definitely maintaining the content is a big challenge, but I believe that once we have a good user base the business tools will be able to keep the traction on the usage. Also, yeah, there are other letters of the alphabet other than the G, that's the big reason behind the name being The Queer Spot and not The Gay Spot.
