The Path to Senior Product Designer

Hello Product Hunt! My last Amazon bestselling book Solving Product Design Exercises helped thousands of designers to land their dream jobs at companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc. With my new book, I'd like to help designers achieve their next major career milestone — grow their careers and get promoted. In the book, I present the results of my analysis of how more than 50 companies evaluate designers and employees, including Etsy, Medium, Dropbox, Square, Figma, Zendesk, Intercom, and Coursera. In addition, I share actionable frameworks and tactics for each of 12 competencies these companies value in designers: mentoring, giving feedback, presenting design, and improving processes, etc. While engineers have great books helping them grow their careers like The Staff Engineer’s Path, The Effective Engineer, Staff Engineer etc., product designers don’t have anything like that 😿 So I've created one 😊 I hope designers will use these skills to solve the most urgent problems the world is facing today, making it more sustainable, healthy, and equal.
