Hi there, i'm Gildo and I created Taky. Taky comes up from my need to have a web app that allows me to write an idea or a document as fast as possible. Currently, there are thousands of note applications, but I decided to build the one I wanted to use: fast with a simple UI I hope you enjoy it. Gildo

Didn’t see a demo, was put off by need for CC info before trying.

Also, so many note taking apps on desktop; I use stickies app that comes with macOS. On mobile I use quip. All free.

If you don’t have a mobile app then it’s really minimum two taps to get to your app, plus no offline support.

@jamesmudgett strange, you should be able to use the app without having to click on signup. The registration is only needed if you want to cloud sync your notes.

@jamesmudgett the application is PWA ready, which means that it can behave like a native app on mobile phones. On Android this kind of apps works really well.

@jamesmudgett plus, as I said in my first comment: I know, there are a lot of notes apps everywhere, I've just built what I wanted to use :)
