Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Raquel and I'm going to tell us the story behind Javi, creator of Tabletop Creator. It all started with Reventure, a video game that brought a lot of joy to players around the world. After its success, they wanted to expand its universe and decided to create a board game adaptation, Reventure Orbtale. But as they dove into designing cards, components, and every little detail that makes a physical game come to life, he realized just how challenging and time-consuming the process really was. Creating Reventure Orbtale showed him how limited and cumbersome the existing tools were for game designers. Between formatting assets, creating print-ready files, and endless rounds of revisions, I thought: “There has to be a better way.” That's when the idea for Tabletop Creator was born—a tool to streamline and simplify the entire process of designing, customizing, and preparing board game components. He wanted to make something that he wish he had during our journey with Orbtale: a user-friendly, powerful platform that would save creators time and help them focus on what really matters—their ideas. So here we are today, launching Tabletop Creator to make the creative journey easier and faster for anyone with a game idea, from beginners to experienced designers.
