Hey Product Hunt! Austin here. I’m a sophomore in university and I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on. Tab Buddy is a Chrome extension that helps you build habits throughout the day. Think about how many new tabs you open per day. Ten? A Hundred? Personally, on average, I open at least 200+ new tabs per day. I wanted a way to reduce friction to key habits that I knew I “should” be doing, but forgot about at the end of the day. With Tab Buddy, you can easily keep track and build habits such as water intake, short meditations, gratitude prompts, and your daily todos. Every time you open a new tab, you get a friendly reminder from our mascot Tito on one of the four habits. For students to those who work from home. Tab Buddy makes it extremely simple to turn your normal idle new tab into one that helps you reach your daily habits. Just tell Tito how many of each habit you wish to follow every day, and they’ll make sure you reach that by the end of the day. Hopefully, Tab Buddy will become the first and last thing you look at in your workday, and every other hour as well. :) Would love to hear your thoughts!
